Gordon is the founder and Principal Planner of Creedence Planning. He has over 25 years experience working as a town planner in the New South Wales development industry. This includes experience on both sides of the counter for various local councils and acting for developers and objectors in the Sydney metropolitan area, Central Coast and the Hunter Region.

With a broad ranging career in  development assessment/approvals, strategic planning, land release subdivisions, policy review and formulation, and expert witnessing in Court, Gordon is a versatile planner used to dealing with a wide variety of complex planning conundrums with persistence, tenacity and attention to detail. 

He was first inspired to established Creedence Planning  in 2003 in Sydney, where it operated successfully for many years.

Gordon moved his family up to Newcastle in 2018 and worked for the City of Newcastle Council for a bit before giving Creedence Planning a revival  and re-commencing trade as a planning consultant in 2022. 

Gordon's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning  degree from the University of Sydney. He is a full member of the Planning Institute of Australia (Membership #7988).
